When a clause is revised, the clause number and the date of the latest revision will be added to the LIST OF REVISED CLAUSES, below. It is important to use this page as a reference to help ensure that you comply with the terms and conditions applicable to your contract, either the latest-dated version as of the effective date of your contract or the version noted elsewhere in your contract. |

| NOTE: During the month of December 1999 and the first few months of 2000, ELS made numerous revisions to the clauses in this Guide as follows: (1)almost all references to "MDC" were changed to "Buyer"; (2) in some cases, "MDC" was deleted, e.g. "MDC 862" was changed to "862" and in some situations has been referred to as "Clause 862"; and (3)grammatical changes necessitated by the changes described in (1) and (2) were made, e.g., while "MDC representatives" may have been acceptable, "Buyer representatives" is not and has been changed to "Buyer's representatives."
